You are here because you are unhappy with aspects of your life, work and/or relationships and want to find answers. I have nearly three decades of experience in supporting people through counselling and psychotherapy with:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety, fears, compulsions and obsessions
  • Issues of sexuality and sexual identity
  • Lack of fulfillment in life and relationships
  • Stress and addictions
  • Personal, social or political impotence
  • Relationship issues
  • Difficulties straddling racial and cultural divides
We will work together to create a regular and safe space for deep conversations about your life and struggles. The experience of being respectfully heard and listening to yourself is surprisingly helpful in self-understanding and gaining a perspective on your internal conflicts. The process of psychotherapy can unlock natural growth processes and alleviate emotional and health problems. Ultimately, the benefits derive from the life-changing magic of knowing your own psychology. When you know yourself better, life does not become easy but easier to navigate.

Psychotherapy is a specific kind of conversation, the kind that does not happen for most of us in our daily lives because your friends and family are not neutral or professionally trained to help. Long-standing problems require a commitment to your psychological development and creating space for such a dialogue. Particularly in mid-life, one needs to pay attention to such internal conflicts and our struggles with finiding meaning, purpose, enthusiasm and energy.

I have been helping people manage emotional and psychological distress for nearly three decades. I trained at Metanoia Institute and gained a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy. I am registered with the UKCP as a Psychotherapist and the HCPC as a Counselling Psychologist. I am an associate at Number 42, the complete psychotherapy and well-being service. I feel confident about my ability to offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

Talking and walking the path with someone trained to help might be just what you need.
