ExpertiseI have worked with people diagnosed with severe mental illness and those living with addictions, depression, anxiety and issues of sexuality since 1992 in the NHS and the voluntary sector. I have worked in various NHS Psychotherapy Services across London and South East with adults, school children and their parents. I used to run the counselling service at Naz Project London, a HIV and sexual health charity for minority ethnic communities.
My approachMy extensive training exposed me to a wealth of knowledge and wisdom in humanistic and psychodynamic therapies. If I had to, I would label myself a Post-Jungian psychodynamic therapist. I am registered with the HCPC and the UKCP and abide by their standards and codes of ethics and conduct. I am also a member of Metanoia Institute.
I adopt an affirmative, non-binary and non-pathologising stance to human diversity including race, religion, gender and sexuality.
